Fill out the registration form by clicking
here. After submitting the form, you will receive an email with the confirmation link. The subscription costs $8 per month. This amount is about the price of 3 cups of coffee at Starbucks.
Your payment will be used for system development and server maintenance expenses. The web changes continuously.
The bad sites need to be identified on a regular basis.
Your subscription fee will be processed by Paypal. You don't need a Paypal account, they are just collecting your
payment. All the major cards are accepted. Your account will be activated within one business day after the confirmation
of your recurring payment. Please click the button below.
Once your account is fully functional, log in. On the top menu click your username. Select the "Profile" menu point.
In the upcoming web form enter the IP address of your home internet. At the bottom of the form you will see your current
IP address. If that is the one you will use, simply copy the address into the form. Save the settings. Your server-side
configuration is done. Now you can add all your devices.
You need to tell your devices to use our firewall as their DNS server. On a Windows computer, check the available
networks. Click on the "Properties" of your currently used network, see screen shot here.
In the next menu scroll down to the IP settings. Enter our IP, 51.222.31.17 into the DNS text box,
see screen shot here.
If IPv6 is enabled, enter our IPv6 address 2607:5300:205:200::37f3
It should be noted, that you may not need to set the IPv6 address. That setting adds some extra security, to
avoid bypassing our firewall. Save the settings, reboot your device.
On iPhone and iPad devices the procedure is similar. Go to the "Settings", "Wi-Fi" and select the network you use. Select
"Configure DNS", then "Manual",
see screen shot here.
Delete the existing DNS servers. Add our DNS server's IP address 51.222.31.17 Save the settings, reboot your device.
On Android phones the DNS can be set under "Settings" - "Connections" - "Wi-Fi". In the settings of the currently
used network look for "View more", "IP settings", "Static" and "DNS1". Please note, some devices may ignore
DNS settings. We recommend downloading a free app from Google Play Store called "DNS Changer Lilly". With the help
of this app you can easily set your DNS address to 51.222.31.17
This app has an extra security feature: you can setup a PIN code to the DNS changer, so your child cannot
change the DNS settings.
Some home internet routers have an option the set the DNS of your whole network. In this case you don't need to
set the DNS on each device.
Setting the DNS does not require any advanced computer skills. There are plenty of tutorials available on the internet.
It is a good idea doing a quick search "change dns server", in case if you need more detailed instructions.
Once all your configuration settings are done, you can start using the clean internet. All DNS queries will go
through our firewall server. We will block the adult sites, the drug-related content and many other harmful websites.
In addition to that, as a bonus, over 100,000 ad providers are blocked, making those ad-heavy websites load much faster.
As our project was launched not a long time ago, there are still some areas to be improved. We would greatly
appreciate your financial support, new ideas and recommendations. Our goal is making Clean up the Net the best
internet firewall based on the principles of traditional family values. If you find any websites with inappropriate
content, we will happily add them to our list of blocked sites. Please also let us know if any irrelevant sites
are denied by mistake.
We can also accommodate special needs. If you have a larger group of subscribers, we can setup a separate server
for you. Your custom-built server can apply any filtering rules and criteria you want. For example, we can add new languages or categories
to the existing ones, or replace the whole list of the blocked sites with your own list.
