Our mission is to help families protect children from harmful internet content while allowing them to explore, learn, and grow online. CleanUpTheNet is building free, privacy-focused tools that give parents an extra layer of protection in today’s digital world.
Many parental control solutions exist today, but protecting children online remains a difficult challenge. The internet changes every second, new websites appear constantly, and unwanted content can sometimes pass through traditional filters.CleanUpTheNet was created to improve this protection by continuously building and testing smarter filtering technology designed with one purpose — helping keep children away from harmful online content.
Over the past two years, we developed and tested our own filtering system, creating a database of hundreds of thousands of blocked domains combined with additional detection rules. This work became the foundation for our next step: MobileGuard Dog.
Our current technology works as a DNS-based filtering system, proving that harmful content can be blocked before it reaches a child's device. The next step is bringing this protection directly to families through MobileGuard Dog — an Android app built on the same filtering principles, but designed to be simple, private, and easy for every parent to use.
